Maintenance
The X-TRA is designed not only to work without interruption for long periods but also to be maintained easily, quickly and simply. All the components are proven to be reliable and are very easy to access.

Operator Position
Access in and out of the X-TRA is very easy. The power steering, comfortable seat, sprung cabin, perfect visibility to the front and sides and car type controls offer a high quality of comfort which allows the operator to work for hours without becoming tired.

The Third brush
Fitted to widen the cleaning path to the right or left side as well as getting into the most difficult of corners. When not in use, the brush can be retracted into the chassis of the machine, and also retracts automatically on impact.

The Side Brushes
These are located in the central part of the machine, behind the drivers position and carry dirt and dust to the centre of the cleaning part for pick up by the main broom and vacuum (or vacuum intake). This ensures the operator will not be covered in dust. Automatic levelling follows the contours of the ground, with a hydraulic control to raise and lower. The rotation speed of the brushes can be regulated depending on the type of debris to be collected.

The Filter
The X-TRA is a 'clean' sweeper. Unlike other machines that emit dust into the atmosphere the X-TRA contains the dust within its filter system and discharges it, together with any debris picked up, into the hopper. The filter is fitted with an electric shaker and is easy to clean.

The Hopper
The compact dimensions and capabilities which are characteristic of the X-TRA ensure uninterrupted urban cleaning with no long journeys to dump the waste. The machine is able to empty its spacious hopper (300 litres) quickly and efficiently, up to a height of 1350mm, directly into a skip. If required, or if there is a need to discharge harmful dust, it is possible to empty directly into a standard plastic sack.

Four Large Wheels
The X-TRA drives with utmost safety on four car-type wheels which give good stability to the machine and excellent operator comfort on any surface whether working or transferring.

The X-TRA with its compact dimensions and wide sweep width is ideal for cleaning pedestrian areas and cycle tracks. Driving it is safe and comfortable whether working or travelling and the third brush can be retracted into the chassis of the machine.

The X-TRA has an excellent appetite for large areas such as car parks and town squares. With the third brush it is possible to sweep to an optimum width of 1750mm. The machine is agile and has the ability to sweep corners which would normally be difficult to clean.

The X-TRA sweeps without creating dust. It is silent and easy to use. It is an ideal sweeper for fast cleaning in enclosed areas, shopping arcades and on pavements where there are street vendors and open-air cafes as well as pedestrians to look out for. The X-TRA is equipped standard with lights and indicators for road use.

With its four large wheels and balanced brakes on the front axle, the X-TRA is able to climb pavements without ramps easily. Once on the pavement the side brushes have automatic levelling which follow the contours of the ground.
